Adopting an Animal

Our adoption program cares for abandoned animals and helps them find loving forever homes. Each of the animals in our adoption program comes fully vetted, spayed or neutered and ready to start their new lives.

To adopt one of our animals please fill out the application from below, and click the submit button.

Fostering an Animal

Fostering is extremely important! Our foster homes help give one on one care to animals while they are getting ready for adoption. All of the costs associated with the animal are covered by the sanctuary. Contact us to apply!

Surrendering an Animal

We take in owner surrender animals and FRIENDLY Stray cats. However we do not work with feral cats at this time. Please contact us for more info on surrendering a cat to the rescue.

Can I surrender an animal?

We do take in owner surrenders. There is a fee associated with surrendering an animal. Please contact us for more information. 

I found a stray cat, Will you take it?

Carroll Organics Farm and Sanctuary does take in stray FRIENDLY Cats only! At this time we do not work with feral animals.

If you have found a stray cat, you are able to touch it, and it appears to want an indoor life please call us at 519-313-4628 to see if we can help.

We do take in kittens and orphaned kittens if space is available. 

What does the adoption process entail?

The application process is three steps (1) filling out and approval of the application, (2) Reference check of 3 people who have seen your interacting with animals (3) Meet and greet with Carroll Organics Farm and Sanctuary staff to ensure the animal is the right fit for your family (4) Signing the adoption contract.

How Much Does Adopting Cost?

The adoption fee for all of our animals is $175 or $300 for a pair and $95 for a senior or FIV+ cat.

Adoption fees help cover the cost of vetting, food and medication for the animal while in our care.

Can I foster an animal?


Fostering an animal helps us take in more animals in need. When you foster all of the animals costs are covered by the sanctuary. For more information contract us.

Will I need Additional Veterinarian Services?

While, each animal will be spayed/neutered, given first round of vaccines, prior to adoption, you will still need your own veterinarian. You will be responsible for all vet care after the adoption contract is signed.
